Three Chairs Publishing was inspired by a quote from Henry David Thoreau’s Walden: “I had three chairs in my house; one for solitude, two for friendship, three for society.” It speaks to the connections we regularly welcome into our lives. As writers and artists, this quote serves to remind us that when we create, we start a conversation — with ourselves, with our friend or loved one, with our community. That is, essentially, why we create.

Three Chairs Publishing brings those conversations to you in the form of thoughtful books, original artwork, and creative products.
